The week prior to your arrival you will receive a registration pass for Windsor Hills and a keycode for the Villa front door. When you arrive you go straight to your Villa, no check in required!
Cleaning fee is $185. A professional clean is performed before your arrival and after your departure.
Pool/Spa heat is optional, and available for your stay for only $25 per day. Everyone has a little different idea of what the ideal temperature should be! While we can not guarantee the temperature of the pool, we strive to maintain it at 86 degrees. Mother Nature from time to time forgets she's in Florida, and allows the temperature to dip down into the 50's or below. When this happens, our pool may not be as warm as we would like. However, it will still be much warmer than it would be without pool heat! Our pool has a spill-over spa. The two heat together, the spa will be warmer than the pool, but it is not a "hot tub". We are often asked about the Resort pool. We have always found it to be kept at a very lovely temperature.
Windsor Hills allows 3 vehicles per Villa. We will send you registration passes for each of your vehicles. You may be able to fit all 3 vehicles in the driveway, but they must not infringe on the sidewalk. Parking is also provided at the clubhouse and in the oversize vehicle lot. You will find Windsor Hills is uncongested and easy to navigate because we do not have a glut of vehicles parked in the street. In other communities you will find 8 to 12 bedroom villas with short little driveways and cars parked up and down the street. Can you say rental car insurance claim? Not in Windsor Hills!
Occupancy Limits and Requirements
Whimsey of Windsor Hills sleeps 12 comfortably, and this is the legal limit for a 6 bedroom villa. If you have children not requiring beds, they do not count towards the 12 person occupancy limit. The contractual renter must be a minimum of 25 years old. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Smoke Free and Pet Free
For the comfort of our guests, absolutely no smoking is allowed. While we love pets and service animals, we can not host them. Owner has allergies, so please be respectful.
A Damage Deposit is required in the form of a hold on your charge card. A $300 hold will be placed on your card prior to check in, and removed after check out. This is the very same procedure required when checking into a hotel.
Booking, Cancelation and Refund Policy
When booking $300 secures your dates. The remaining balance is due 60 days before your scheduled arrival date. After this point cancelations are no longer possible. We realize however that our current COVID-19 environment requires a unique perspective on the subject. Should government imposed travel restrictions or COVID-19 related sanctions prohibit our guests from keeping their reservations, a choice of full refund or rescheduling will be offered. It's just the right thing to do.
When you book we offer standard travel insurance as well as Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance. This is provided through a third-party national travel insurance company for a competitive rate.
How to Make Espresso
This is your opportunity to unleash your inner Barista! Have a go at making your very own Espresso, Cappuccino or Latte. Our new Gevi Espresso Machine is at your disposal. Personally, I had no idea of how to go about it, so here's a little video of the whole process. . .and how to clean up afterwards. . . easy peasy!
For security purposes the home is protected by a Ring doorbell and a security camera facing the pool equipment.
